BISSELL Stomp 'N Go Review

I was recently given the opportunity to review Bissell STOMP N' GO Stain Lifting Pads. I was very excited to try this product because I was ready to ditch all of my carpet and say hello to laminate.  I have three children that make messes and pets that track in dirt and mud. I rounded up some of my family and closest friends and had a STOMP 'N GO party.

We had fun making messes hoping that the Bissell STOMP 'N GO Stain Lifting Pads would clean it up.  Everyone talked about using this product at home on their own carpet and rugs to see if it would get out some of the old stains. Everyone was given the opportunity to use the product at my party. Meet the gang that helped review the Bissell Stomp 'N Go Stain Lifting Pads. We decided to include children in this because they help make the messes and stains, and we wanted to see how easy it would be for them to use this product too.

My family and friends

How to use Bissell STOMP 'N GO

We weren't quite sure what kind of mess this was going to create on the laminate flooring while stomping, so we chose to do the stomping out doors on the porch. First my friend made a mess on the carpet swatch that was provided and she used a little bit of red wine. There was also a dried grape juice stain on each carpet swatch that I was provided with.

Red Wine & dried Grape Juice
I had already removed the STOMP 'N GO pad, and got it ready for my friend, I noticed it had a nice fresh scent to it. My friend took the carpet swatch outdoors and placed the pad onto it. As you can see the stain fighting formula was released, and it was starting to soak up the stains right away as she was pushing hard with her foot, then she began to stomp.  It does create a little mess with the bubbles when stomping. We thought this would happen which is why we chose to do it outside on the porch, because it does soak through the other side.

We then left the pad on top of the soiled area from the red wine and dried grape juice for 30 minutes, which is recommended on the package. After 30 minutes Viola the stains were Gone! Including on the back of the carpet swatch. Everyone else decided to create there own stains as well. We used ketchup, mustard, strawberry jelly, dirt/mud,  coffee, Hawaiian fruit punch, cigarette ashes, deviled egg, and pet urine. We did not make very big stains, they were about the size of the dried grape juice stain or smaller.

It was impressive that after 30 minutes the red wine and dried grape juice came out. I couldn't see any stains anywhere. The package recommended leaving the pad on for 24 hours for tough stains. So we waited 24 hours for the deviled egg, coffee, strawberry jelly, dried grape juice, ketchup, pet urine, and the Hawaiian fruit punch. After 24 hours the stains from the mustard, dirt/mud, cigarette ashes, Hawaiian fruit punch that leaked into the dried grape juice stain area did not come out. The only stains I seen fully come out were the dried grape juice in most of the swatches, deviled egg, pet urine, coffee and red wine.

Swatch on the left was the most successful in removing stains(wine, grape juice)

I decided to repeat the process all over again to see if I could get out what I consider now "old stains" that were now dried that did not come out the first time.  I waited 24 hours and was not successful getting out anymore of the stains.

What I do like about the product is that it could take as little as 30 minutes to remove some stains such as red wine and grape juice, which I was successful getting out. Others felt that it was a bit messy, and others thought that using a carpet cleaner might have been faster than waiting 24 hours and the results may have been better,  and of course everyone agreed that Bissell STOMP 'N GO Stain Lifting Pads did not remove all of the stains completely.

The Bissell STOMP 'N GO may not be a fast solution as it may take as little as 30 minutes to up to 24 hours to remove stains. I would recommend the product to remove very small lighter stains, and food and beverages that I was able to get out. However, the product does not get out everything from my experience (results may vary).

BISSELL Stomp ‘N Go® Stain Lifting Pads are currently available at Kmart, grocery stores and select Wal-Mart stores for around $4.99. Each package contains five individually wrapped pads.
