Here are some great tips to stay safe and keep your belongings secrure.

Always be aware of what's going on around you at all times.

Keep your purse, wallet, and expensive items out of site in your dorm room when you are away.

If you're using a combination lock be sure to hover over where no one can see when you are putting in your combination. After you lock your locker or bicycle up be sure to spin the combination around so that it's secure and no one can just pop the lock right open.

Be sure to install passwords on your digital devices such as iPads, iPods, iPhones and computers, and don't share your passwords with anyone.

Lock your dorm room when you leave after securing your personal possessions.

Disclosure:  I am entering a contest for a Master Lock back-to-school prize pack as a member of the Mom Bloggers Club. No form of compensation was received for this post!
